G.S.A. sale                           STATE, CITY Public sale

In reference to G.S.A. purchased vehicles;

1.     All purchases made must be paid for day of sale. Approved method of payment is: credit card or E.F.T. (call 208-463-8250 for details). No exceptions.

2.  The Bid price is the purchase price. G.S.A. vehicles and are not subject to the buy fees, internet bid fees etc. Idaho residents pay sales tax plus a $14 title fee.

3.     Various floor plans are accepted, however, it is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the Auction accepts a specific floor plan. All floor planning incurs a $50 charge per car as the auction may experience delay in being paid by floor plan company.

4.     There is no auction arbitration for vehicles sold for GSA.  Any buyer who believes a vehicle has been misrepresented may contact GSA directly.

6.     Condition Reports are provided as a convenience and in many cases are a product of one individual's opinion. Auction will not be responsible for minor errors. Decision of auction and the GSA Representative will be final in all disputes.

7.    Given the delay in time between live floor bids and internet bids, the bid recognized by the auctioneer will stand. In the case of any dispute between the floor bidder and the internet bidder, the floor bidder will be recognized. Bidding via the internet is not a substitute for attending a live sale. It assists in providing access to a sale when no other option is available.

In reference to other State, County, City or other public auction purchased vehicles;

1.     All Internet Purchases must be paid for at the conclusion of the sale. Internet buyer's methods of payment is either by credit card or E.F.T. (Call 208-463-8250 for details).

 

Failure to pay for purchases within the prescribed period of time entitles Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho to retain property and collect a sum equal to the greater of (a) 20 percent of the purchase price, or (b) $200.00. In the event of default, the credit card on file will be charged. By bidding on a vehicle the bidder agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and also waives any right to disputing of credit card charges.

1a.   Vehicles are subject to a Buyer’s premium.

For purchases less than $299 a 20% buy fee (no minimum) will be added to the bid price.

For purchases of $300 or more a 12% Buyers Fee minimum $150 will be added to the bid price. (Add 4% for Credit Cards).

 

2.     Existing check status customers doing business with the auction frequently must overnight a check for the full amount no later than the next business day, otherwise a $95 late fee applies for each purchase.

3.     Various floor plans are accepted, however, it is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the Auction accepts a specific floor plan. All floor planning incurs a $50 charge per car as the auction may experience delay in being paid by floor plan company.


4.     There is no auction arbitration on public auction vehicles .


5.     No offers will be taken on public auction vehicles prior to or following the sale.

6.     Known deficiencies on any units have been noted in the catalog for your convenience.  Non disclosure of defects is not grounds for cancellation of sale.  All vehicles are sold as is where is with any and all faults known or unknown.  The auction makes no warranty, express or implied, for any items offered. All sales are final and there are no refunds for any reason.  It is your responsibility to inspect auction items before bidding.

In reference to Dealer Closed sale vehicles;

1. By placing a proxy bid on a vehicle the bidder acknowledges that changes to a vehicle may occur after their bid is placed. Changes could include, but isn’t limited to, changes in equipment, condition, lights or announcements. It is the responsibility of the bidder to review their bids prior to the vehicle being sold or being placed on an if bid / offer.

2. All Internet Purchases made off-site customers must be paid for no later than Thursday at noon via wire transfer or expedited check. For new customers a bank statement verifying funds must be faxed prior to sale time. Payments received after Wednesday will incur a $95 late fee per purchase.

5. Normal buy fees apply.

5a. ONLINE BUYERS: Add an additional $50 for the internet convenience fee. N.A.A.A. Online Buyer's arbitration policy's will only be recognized IF THE BUYER HAS REQUESTED AND PAID FOR A POST SALE INSPECTION. Failure to request the Post Sale Inspection DAY OF SALE will eliminate any and all N.A.A.A. Online Buyer's policy's. Add an additional $125 for the post sale inspection.


All other buyers' fees will be consistent with those purchased onsite. All RED Light vehicles are AS IS WHERE IS and are NOT open to arbitration.

The "Buyer Protection Post-Sale Inspection" includes checking for sound motor, sound transmission, and sound frame and will be done within two (2) hours of the sale. The vehicle will be inspected per auction policies. The "Buyer Protection Post-Sale Inspection" does not inspect for cosmetic damage to the vehicle. You have 5 days from completion of the quick check to get the unit to your lot. The vehicle will remain under the quick check guarantee for 48 hours after it reaches your lot. The 48 hours begins when the vehicle arrives at your lot, if the vehicle reaches your lot before the 5-day limit you still have only a 48-hour quick check guarantee. In the event a defect arises within the 48-hour time frame the auction must be notified immediately and reserves the right to repair the vehicle up to $1000. Detail of the arbitration policy for Internet sales shall be consistent with "Buyer Protection" customers.

6. "If" Sales are binding to the buyer for 24 hours. In the event the auction cannot reach the buyer, the approved "If" sale stands until contact can be made. In the event the "If" sale is declined and a counter offer is given by the seller, the auction will contact buyer with said counter offer. If an auction occurs on a holiday in which banks, lease, and finance companies are closed, all "if" sales will be binding through close of business the following day.

If your computer doesn't meet any or all of the minimum system requirements, the Simulcast Auction may not function properly. 

ONLINE PURCHASES ARB POLICY

  1. Online Buyer will inspect the vehicle immediately upon arrival at Buyer’s location. The Buyer must notify DAA of any physical condition report discrepancies of over $600 within two days of receipt or 10 days from purchase, whichever comes first. (Note: Discrepancies that can be addressed for less than $600 are not eligible for resolution)
  2. DAA will not arbitrate physical damage on vehicles that do not have a full condition report.
  3. Pictures of damage, whether in the CR, or the vehicle photos, will be considered as damage disclosure, no line item is needed.
  4. Missing exterior or interior parts/accessories are not covered.
